One of the more rare and lesser-known gems in Ontario, the Bancroft park is located in a remote area about an hour northeast of Peterborough. If you find yourself in the Kawarthas or cottage country areas, this park is worth hunting down for a session. With the perfect balance of transition and plaza, there’s something for everyone. The bowl's hips, and “boobs” are unique, and the rainbow ledge in the plaza are fun options.
Located in a spot out of sight from the street, the park is tucked behind the Bancroft Post Office on Station Street, turn onto Hastings Heritage Way, which is a dirt road, leading to a dirt parking lot. Drive along Hastings Heritage way and you will see the skate park on the right.
