Taking its name from the large rail depot nearby, this large concrete park offers a huge plaza and bowl setup complete with crazy screeching train sounds. This one offers something for everyone, with a large flowy bowl consisting of hips extensions and a smooth double coping spine. The plaza offers multiple flat bank, pyramid lines along with various rails, ledges and a fun bank to picnic table setup.
Located in Port Coquitlam’s Lions Park just north of the rail depot, it can be accessed off of Shaughnessey Street and Lions Way. There’s no parking available for this park, so plan to get creative either parking in one of the shopping plazas across the street, or alternatively the safer option parking in McMitchell Park one block to the north on Shaunghnessy St and Lougheed Hwy.
